How Solstice began
Solstice wasn't built from a business plan, it was built from a personal experience. Laura Donovan discovered ear seeds through her own wellness journey, searching for tools that could support her physically, mentally, and emotionally. The shift was immediate and undeniable. She noticed a meaningful change not only in her body but in her mental well-being, something she described as both subtle and profound.
What surprised her most was that despite ear seeding's nearly 2,000-year history, she hadn't encountered it sooner. After deepening her understanding of auricular therapy and earning her certification, the path forward became clear. With her family's support, she invested her savings into building Solstice, launched in August 2025 with a single mission: to make this ancient practice genuinely accessible for modern life.
